Are you looking for a place to stay while you’re enjoying geocaching, the beach, great food, and fun? There are plenty of options for you, including the Chautauqua Lodge in Long Beach. They served as the host for our annual geocaching events the entire time the events have been in the Long Beach area. The friendly staff at the Chautauqua Lodge have welcomed geocachers from all over who have attended this event and are excited to be our host hotel again this year. All rooms include free wifi, use of the indoor pool and hot tub, and pets and kids are welcome. The Lodge is at the edge of the dunes, a two-minute walk to the beach with ocean views from the second and third-floor rooms. With geocaches right outside the hotel, makes the Chautauqua Lodge and Convention Center a perfect location geocachers to stay while visiting Long Beach.
The Chautauqua Lodge has two lodging options available to choose from:
Standard Hotel Rooms
- 2 queen or 1 king bed, full bath.
- All rooms include cable TV and coffeemaker. Second and third-floor rooms also include a microwave and mini-fridge.
- Patio or balcony facing the ocean.
- Sleeps 4-6 in various configurations. Each unit has one private bedroom and two full bathrooms.
- Includes a kitchenette, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, cookware, and dinnerware.
- Living area, two cable TV’s, patio or balcony facing the ocean.
Special Rate at Chautauqua Lodge
The Chautauqua Lodge has a special discount for all CDS attendees. The rates are as follows:
Early Bird Special (Book Before 8/15/19)
All standard hotel rooms are $69 a night. Condos are $109 a night.
Book On Or After 8/15/19
Standard Hotel rooms are $79 a night, condos are $119 a night.
To get the special lodging rates, you must call the Chautauqua Lodge to book your reservation. The special rate is not available via the Chautauqua Lodge’s website. You can book your reservations at 1-800-869-8401 or 360-642-4401. Let them know that you are in town for the Cache Dash Splash event and want the special lodging rate.
